You may know this already, but I found out after a friend had a stroke. She was told to keep well-hydrated in order to help minimize a recurrence.

I am not at all saying this will happen in your case, but drinking "enough" water is typically a good thing. 

I am glad you have the peace of mind to know that, just in case you may need to be away from home longer than you'd wish, there are family members who can help with Henry and Ava. 

On a related note, and again you may know this, don't stop coffee cold turkey unless you drink very little. Withdrawal from caffeine, as some have mentioned here, will give you headaches. I know that from personal experience.

@NickNack. Sorry to hear about your health issues.  Call your PCP and ask her to call the specialist herself and get you seen asap.  No need for you to worry until January.

Specialists will usually see patients asap if they get a doc to doc call.

Any chance your Niece could spend the night with you.  Would that be a comfort, maybe?

Just hate that you are having yet another problem.  It should be a requirement that they come along in orderly fashion, so as not to overload us.

If you have any significant change, or your kidney functions seem out of whack, POOEY on urgent care, and NO driving 🚙 yourself,

call an ambulance.  If you arrive via ambulance you are priority.

We all are different, and have different symptoms, but I had a missed kidney infection about a year ago which resulted in headache, high BP, and heart rate.   I’m hoping this it is something that can be quickly resolved for you.
