Urgent Care options are always very handy.

Over here, they have appointments so patients don't have to sit and wait in the waiting room for hours and hours.

@NickNack I think I remember my husband saying if he doesn't have his coffee he gets a headache so that may be part of the reason for the headache.  I agree you shouldn't

drink coffee right now but keep it in mind as to the headache.  My best wishes for you and hope you can see your doctor Monday.  Keep us up to date and try to forget your health while at your sil tonight.

I am so sorry for your health issues. I would call the doctor's office and see if you could leave a message. I know with my health care plan I can send a message through the website. 

I was wondering about Frankie? I know you have a Frenchie named Ava. Was that the name of your other dog. I think you are very upset and need to consult with a physician so you can resolve your concerns.

I wish you a Merry Christmas. Please give Ava and Henry a hug. I am sure they are very concerned about you. Please keep us updated.

That's a shame that urgent care in your area is like that, we have 2 on the island and I've never waited longer than an hour at either one, including for x-rays.

Do you have a fire dept. anywhere near you? They are always open, no waiting and gladly help citizens assess blood pressure issues.

Luckily, I have a FD less than half a mile away and have gone there when I first started BP meds.

I have a BP monitor at home, but just don't trust their accuracy compared to a professional.

Gives you something nice to look at while they take it too, LOL!

Just kidding and your health issues are nothing to kid about. I was just hoping to help you smile!

I think that's very smart of you!

Also, remember that chocolate has caffeine as well, so if you're a fan of hot chocolate, use less chocolate than you normally would.

I don't use the pre-packaged hot chocolate mixes, you can't control anything that's in it.
