I went to Trader Joe's this afternoon and got a new one to try: Honey Sesame Almonds. Almonds are really, really good for us and this is a tasty way to have a small handful as a snack.
The Bay Area today began a supposedly three day heat wave, so I got their Caribbean popsicles to try tomorrow. Mango, blood orange, etc.

I'm fortunate enough to have two Trader Joe's nearby; one about 10 minutes away and another about a half-hour away. I love so many of their foods because they are so good.
I've never seen the frozen figs as I rarely look at the frozen fruit. Can you tell me how many carbs are in one fig? Thanks!
One of my favorite things are the pound bags of frozen, sliced, and grilled chicken. Just defrost and serve, or heat them up to make stir fries or any other dish. They are sooooo good and handy as well, as I really hate touching "dead chicken."
Love my TJ's!

10 g carbs in one medium fig.
I love figs. They are also a fantastic appetizer with a little crumbled blue on top, or wrapped in a slice of prosciutto (sorry sunny) and then drizzled with a high quality EVOO.

I will have to look out for the figs - I love figs, but I only find them fresh for a couple of months (if that) out here
These are delicious....and probably the single most lemon-y thing I have ever tasted. The lemon flavor is really intense.

It's 85 degrees here...
Just had my first Trader Joes Caribbean Fruit Floe and it helped A LOT. Seriously, I cooled down with it, although I don't know how long that will last. Loved it, and it has fiber from the fruit. I recommend it. Oh, and it's also hefty. You get a lot but it's not high in calories, a mere 80.
