Another Math Brainteaser

(I didn't want to hijack the other thead!)

 

  • Start by telling your friend that you will write down a number on a piece of paper and hide it, or give it to the other person without showing them.
  • Always write the number 5 on your paper.
  • Ask the other person to think of a number between 1 and 100.
  • Tell them to multiply it by 4.
  • Add 12.
  • Multiply it by 2.
  • Add 16.
  • Divide it by 8.
  • Finally subtract it by the original number (the one they thought of)
  • Now get them to tell you their answer, which will always be 5..Get them to reveal the answer on your piece of paper. They’ll think you are a mind reader…



 

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
