Ann Rice's Vampires or TwiIlight Vampires

I enjoyed reading Rice's vampire collection. I felt the emotions.

The Twilight Vampires have good special effects but some things are too wild. For example, how can she get pregnant if he is dead and the bodily functions stopped a log time ago?

I might go to watch the new movie just for the special effects.
