What a wonderful man. He and his family own a dog and other cats, so this little kitten is being added, thankfully.
What a guy!

That's sweet, but....if the kitten was able to get out to eat the cat food by the tires, why did they have to cut open the truck? Couldn't you set up a no-injure trap? Maybe I missed something....

One day at our dealership, we kept hearing strange noises from the showroom floor- Sure enough, one of the feral cats from the back lot had found her way to to a truck on the showroom floor to give birth....Long story short, we al ended up helping to raise them, once they were old enough we were able adopt all of them out to good homes...As I recall, there were 4....

When my cat McGyver was a kitten he used to hide in a little slat behind the dishwasher. That was his safe place. That's their safety zone I guess so no one will harm them. We had to duct tape that hole so that he couldn't go there anymore. Some of you might remember that story from two Christmases ago because I posted about it here. Now he's such a big boy he couldn't fit in there if he tried.
Staying on topic though, I was hoping though that he would have kept the little kitten after all that trouble.

What a happy story. I hope a body shop will fix his truck for free. Bring on the happy animal stories.

It could have been a different animal that ate the food.
The poor guy has macular degeneration.

I'm thinking the kitten was able to get out and ate the food. I remember when our kitten "hid" we put food out and it was eaten by him because he was the only cat in our house. Somehow he was able to get out to eat but went back to his hole and got stuck. I'm guessing that this probably happened to this kitten. Of course your thought ennui1 could also be possible too.
