I wonder why he waited until he was "old" to have children.  I am the child of older parents as well as three of my siblings.

At his age he should be a new PopPop and not a Dad of a newborn...just my opinion from personal experience.

I hope he lives a long life and can keep up with his sons.

Do you also wonder why these men waited so long for fatherhood?

Billy Joel 65,   Simon Cowell. 53,

Hugh Grant  52,  Elton John 66,  Mick Jagger 56 and 73,  Jeff Goldblum 62, RichRd Gere 70.   Do you think they should be drooling in nursing homes while they wait for the grand kids to visit?

Wasn't the actor Tony Randall in his upper 70's by the time his only 2 children were born?

Anthony Quinn had his last TWO children & the ages of 78 & 81.  He was 86 when he died.

Since it's not my kid, it's not my business why he chose to have kids at his current age. It's his life!

Personally I feel having kids too old OR too young can both can be detrimental.

Compared with the many children being raised by grandparents, Anderson's boys are being raised by parents who are quite young.

@teganslaw

 I am only talking abt women who act as a prearranged surrogate  who carry the baby the entire nine months.

 I am not talking abt women who are in desparate situations to place their children out for adoption .

Maybe Anderson's husband - or ex-husband - is younger and will carry on with the children when it's too difficult for Anderson himself.

@ValuSkr   I don't think they were ever married. Just partners who broke up and are now good friends.

" at his age he should...."

He SHOULDNT do anything according to your timeline. He had his family when it was right for him...not YOU.
