I thought it was cute....touching....charming....

Took my 8 year old granddaughter...(her choice) and she liked it, too....

If it were anyone but MD, I would be looking forward to it as to storyline and Diane Keaton, who is always adorable.

But I can't stand MD, so I am very ambivalent about seeing it.

I'd see it despite the reviews. I can't tell you how many movies I've enjoyed even though the critics said how lousy it was. And vice versa.

I go by which actors are in a movie, and what kind of mood I'm in.

I love Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton, and I'm so happy that he's in remission from his cancer.

Hi scottie.....sorry it took so long to come back....I was on the phone with my SIL...she is a talker...haha....

Basically MD is waiting to sell his home so he is living in a small place next door to DK...his estranged son....who is a former user...drops off his daughter and a stray dog he found on his way over....(this was really funny).....son is going to jail....

MD shoves the 9 year old off on DK.....and then the story evolves around him trying to find the girls mother...selling his home...getting his son out of jail..painting the granddaughters room purple....(which he hates)....and so on and so on...

Obviously the ending is sweet....

I don't care what the reviews have said...it was truly a lovely movie...and my granddaughter loved it, too....
