Ancestry dot com commercials

Saw one today for the first time, people reciting the Declaration of Independence. People of all different races.

The end says they are all decedents of the signers.

Very cool commercial!

Can be seen on you tube if interested.

You're right, great commercial, thanks for pointing it out, mominohio.  I would love it if there were more saturation of U.S. history, civics and founding documents, just in the mass pop culture like that.  Then we could all absorb it naturally, the way we do sports scores and celeb misadventures!

Saw it.  We did do the Ancestry thing three months ago.  I thought knowing would be a gift to our daughers.

Re: Ancestry dot com commercials

Haven't seen the commercial but I assure you my ancestors signed zilch.

Also, one of those DNA services did a large DNA testing on the Native Americans (Navajo I believe) and not a one had Native American blood lines though they lived their entire lives on the reservation as did their ancestors before them.   I wouldn't trust those business with my info or a hard earned penny.
