There is a Community over on the Southern Channel that posters can visit.  I haven't found it so restricted either.  Give it some thought.

In the past it was very restrictive.  I gave up on posting there about 10 or 12 years ago.

I used to like their board, but then they became very strict.  The few times I've visited since, it was pretty quiet and boring.  Have they lifted all the restrictions?

My thought is that I wouldn't like their chatroom/forum any better than I like what they try to sell me.

I lived through QVC's years of less restrictive forums and I like what's here now much better.  I think HSN isw trying to do their forums on the cheap cheal without paying for moderators, but I'll be happy to lose all those who want to complain more, 88tch more, link more, etc.

I've spent nothing at HSN for over a decade and I won't spend any of my time there either.

Those are my thoughts.

The HSN forums are very restrictive indeed. It's pretty much about the products, and negativity of any kind is frowned upon. Their forums are pretty dead/inactive because of this. I periodically take a peek and every time I do, it's both dead and restricted. It seems to be quite a bit more heavy-handed than this forum.
