Re: American Flag ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

I love our flag not only is it one of the prettiest but it is symbolic of those who died fighting for the freedom that those who disrespect it may speak freely.

Coming from the metro NY area and having worked at the respite after 9/11, who does not remember the 9/11 flag and its journey. Iโ€™ve always respected my flag as every generation in my family has served and continue to serve but that 9/11 flag was symbolic of American resolve and pride in the face of adversity. I loved it more and it hurts me when itโ€™s disrespected.

We fly the flag year round at our house. It's always up.

I fly my flags only on holidays - Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, etc. It's a special gesture to commemorate the day.

In addition to being laden with meaning, honor, love and patriotism, the U.S. flag is one of the most beautifully designed, unique and striking banners to be flown.

Houses up and down our street (including ours), have been flying the flag this spring and summer--  a heartening sight.
