OTC (over the counter) benefits insurance cards.  New to me.

Of course mine did not work.  I entered every number I could find on my card.  I have AARP United Healthcare Advantage.

They have indicated on my account that they are accepting OTC cards, I would alternate mine with my hubby's card. Then I noticed they didn't go through and defaulted to my Amazon Visa. I called them and was told to call my bank.The bank wasn't authorizing their use. HUH? 

Now I just go to the pharmacy at Walmart or Kroger and use the card with no problems.Plus,I can get sale prices and coupons and 5 times fuel points on Fridays at Kroger.A much better win-win.

Also,I have Cigna/Health Spring and Wellcare. Neither works at Amazon.

Doesn't sound like it really works.  I'll stick to Walmart and Walgreens.

We have the OTC through Aetna but can only use it at CVS.

I use mine at Walmart but. Somehow my orders seem to always get screwed up.

I've tried to find it on Walgreens website but could never locate a place to enter it.

@Mz iMac   I have a feeling they don't take HMO, or any card where you are suppose to to go to a certain pharmacy.  Maybe a PPO would work. But I don't know.  Good luck. Advantage plan in an HMO (in a way),

@Luvitorleaveit1  I also have Aetna OTC Card and I can shop at different places. Could you check yours again? I don't shop at CVS even though I can, but I have shopped at Kroger, Walmart, Walgreens and Publix where I'm living.

@Sage04 - I'll try Walgreens, I don't shop at Walmart and Krogers is not in NY, I love Publix but it's not here either.

Amazon CS the OTC benefit card must show the OTC Network symbol on the back of the card.  My card does not.  Also, my card looks nothing like the below sample photo....

On Amazon's OTC website:  "If your card isn’t accepted, check with your provider to confirm that Amazon is part of your plan’s approved retailer network."

Called UHC.  Was told "at this time "Amazon is not part of their approved retailer network."

@shoekitty  Seems you are correct.
