I really don't think Amazon has much to worry about!!! Prime isn't just about shipping and most who have it want and use those other benefits.

True. I rarely need anything urgently, so "two days" doesn't mean much to me. When there are things I'd like to buy from Amazon, I keep a list and wait until their total exceeds $49. Yes, prices could change in the meantime, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

Indeed. I don't shop at WM that often anyway and I seem to purchase many items from Amazon, including books, music, etc. I really don't like WM.

I too will continue with Amazon- Walmart can't beat some prices, like on personal products.. Like I get 4 Mitchum deodorants for less than the Wally sells either a set of 2 or 3.. plus my dusting powder and foot cream. Plus Prime/free shipping. So now I'm always stocked.. OHH if any of you use Pureology products, they're cheaper on Amazon than at Ulta, big time cheaper. Stuff works wonder on my "naturalized" hair, LOL ..

No thanks. Walmart doesn't have nearly the selection Amazon has. But jet.com is getting a lot more of my business these days as it seems amazons prices aren't as good as they used to be. Although I did just buy a pair of waterproof winter boots I wanted that were $179 that unexpectedly and temporarily dropped to $49-that is an insane deal
I am not a fan of Walmart in general.
the good thing is though, with more competition maybe Amazon will lower their prime membership cost or their prices. Wishful thinking probably.

I shop mainly with Amazon with everything I buy but I recently found my blood strips on Walmarts website that were so unbelievably cheap I had to get some! I got quite a few and am as happy as a clam! For those who know the price of these things....these end up costing me a mere $4/box of 50! Unheard-of super deal! Thank you Walmart! ![]()

probably just to lure you in.... it will not be for ever. But, for the time being it is a good deal!

Great, I won't have to buy as many bottles of shampoo all at once to get free shipping. But I am an Amazon Prime member and amazon gets the lion's share of my disposable income by far for their incredible fast shipping, reliablility and selection.

Thanks for posting this. I ordered from Walmart yesterday and expect delivery 2/7. I missed a few things and went back and ordered today and expect delivery 2/2! They have done this before as a promo but I didn't see any expiration on this offer. For food and personal care items, I prefer Walmart. They don't make you buy outrageous quantities and their prices are usually lower than Amazon's. I get really annoyed when I see "reserved for Prime" after the price.
