I'll still take Amazon over Wally-World any day.

I ordered the Dafni from Wal-mart.com on Friday when it was the TSV here. WM had it for $30.00 less than the TSV price plus free shipping and no sales tax, which was about $10.00 more saved. Received it on Monday. Very happy.

Most of my Amazon ordering is done at Christmas time or when buying books. I do not find Amazon to have the best prices. I do better when ordering from Target with the Red card and now WM.

Same here, @queendiva. They beat Amazon on many, many items. And like you say, can beat the Q on prices. For instance, NutriSystem. I think they will be very successful & have promised not to raise prices. I do Walmart about once a month for most dry goods.

Any number of retailers work better for me than paying Amazon for "free" shipping.  Their system obviously works for buyers who shop frequently and also want their music, tv, and books.

For me, it was a convenience the year I had it, but it cost me extra shipping fees instead of saving me money.

I frequently shop Amazon and Wal-Mart but I much prefer Amazon for product selection, speed of delivery and customer service.  Additionally their web site is much more user friendly.  As I live in a small city, these are my only real choices day to day.

If you're not a Prime member, you can get free Amazon shipping if you spend $49.

This new WM 2-day shipping will be great for ordering the 1 item we like to buy from WM, the Persil laundry detergent - Amazon used to have it but a little bit more expensive than WM.

For everything else - still Amazon.  The overall selection and quality is much better IMO.

My experience ordering from WM has not been good.  I gave up after my order of 4 jars of honey (glass) were thrown into a box and shipped without filler in the box.  Naturally, they broke and made a major mess.  Nothing arrived; no word from WM (not email, phone, or mail).  After 2 weeks I called and got an answer from a customer service person that the jars were sent back to WM by the post office because of the broken condition.  I then checked online and found that there were many complaints about the same issue.  The lower price was not worth the hassle - and I still didn't have the honey.

We have Amazon Prime, order a lot, and feel we get our money's worth and then some.

I agree, @patbz, that Amazon's web site is better. WalMart has some "friendly user" work to do on theirs. I've thought the same thing.
