I know this is not QVC relested but a lot of us shop there. Last week I ordered two bottles of nail polish same brand different colors. One arrived last weekend via Amazon delivery. The second airrive yesterday via UPS. None of this makes any sense to me. Does anyone understand this? Thank you

Could be as simple as each bottle came from a different location. Maybe the Amazon delivery was from a location close to your home?

I never get Amazon delivery--even though there's a warehouse less than 20 miles from me. I never get anything UPS from them either. They always deliver my stuff to the post office, and the post office delivers it.

I would agree it most likely depends on which warehouse the items are coming from.

It happens even with QVC.  I have ordered multiples of the same item at the same time and they have come from different locations.

They probably came from different places.

For awhile now, & rather routinely, it seems that the heaviest of items, (esp my monthly "Amz subscribe items" like my boxes of cat litter),  are delivered via USPS vs Amz workers.  I apologize to my nice USPS worker & asked him "why is this?" (esp since USPS vehicle's dont even have the means to pull cart heavy boxes to the door delivery).  He suggested Amz decided it was because perhaps liability for injuries will then be carried by USPS vs Amz personnel.

I watch the vendor names, many are third party and do their own shipping.  Much prefer to have Amazon shipping.

I take your post differently than it appears others do @I am still oxox . I understand items, even the same type of items, can ship from different locations. However, I ordered a $7.00 item three weeks ago from Amazon. I finally received it yesterday by UPS. It baffles me too. Why UPS? It seems like it would cost them more than $7 to deliver it.

It just makes no sense to me either @I am still oxox .

I understand the logistics.  It depends on where the warehouse is located.  But, this time of year, they are using all the trucks they can find.  I used to get all my Amz deliveries from UPS.  It's just been in recent years that we have the Amz vans.  Sometimes it's individuals in their private cars.  Some people get deliveries via drone.  I'd love to get a drone delivery but we won't due to where we live.

I placed an order from Gap Factory, eight items. 7 items were shipped together, 1 item by itself. Both shipped via UPS.  However, the package with the 7 items was handed off to USPS and I received it 5 days before the estimated date of arrival.

This probably happened because one package came out of Ontario and other from the Bronx, 3 days before the estimated date of arrival.
