I get the impression that if you are already a Prime member, it goes up at the end of the year of your current Prime membership purchase.

The price increase is rolled out based on when each individuals membership renews. For example, mine renewed in February, so I got an e-mail stating that my rates will increase effective Feb 2015. Did you get an email?

Mine goes up on my renewal date - September 2014. I got the e-mail a week ago.

Thanks for the info Suzie. A friend of mine, who had been on the fence, just signed up after I told her this was the last day at the lower price.
