I don't like the price increase..but would probably do it..My membership was just renewed last month.

I buy enough with the shipping..I like stuff just delivered to my front door and more often a few bucks cheaper then local..plus I read a lot of books and always get my free one. I of course browse - find the most expensive that I want LOL..

I wouldn't buy a lot of things on Amazon if it wasn't free shipping and often the item is under $35 and don't want to wait. I like the free two day shipping a lot!

The price of Prime has not increased in nine years. It was bound to happen.

Yes, mc,an spend $35 to get free shipping on many items, but it is not two-day shipping, and sometimes that is a lot more than what one wants to spend (I just bought a book for $8 that I received the next day with Prime shipping, for instance).

Since I average approximately 125 purchases a year from Amazon, I find Prime well worth the money, and I will continue to pay for it..

No item that I buy on Amazon is something that I HAVE to have within the next 24 hours.

I can wait.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

I buy SO much from Amazon that I can probably easily make the $35 for free shipping (on qualified items). I didn't realize it went up to a $35 cart.

I'm constantly amazed at the variety that Amazon sells! I buy lots of books and DVDs (sometimes used so no free shipping), MP3 music and CDs, water filters, health and beauty items, snacks, drinks, batteries, small appliances, electronics, coffee, kitchen gadgets, soap, office supplies, condiments, hair products, etc., etc.

I have never had Prime as I don't purchase that much from Amazon...and when I did....I spent enough to get the free ship when it was $25.00....Prime would not be beneficial to me even though I do like Amazon....

I won't be renewing my membership after it expires in April.

I tried the trial Prime and had less access to products. Did not need the other services. They refunded as did not use it. Nothing I need in 2 days. Throw stuff in my wish list. When I need to fulfill the new $35 limit, pull something out of the wish list. Never pay shipping. Prime was never a need or want for me.

I order from Amazon Prime all the time. I will continue to be a member --- For me, it's worth it.

I don't have Prime but I shop Amazon a lot. I always have some everyday items in my cart that can bring the total to $35. I don't mind waiting for regular shipping. I don't use the streaming video service or books, as I get that thru my cable company and my library. So, the person that said you're just paying $$ up front, for shipping is right! I'll continue to save that $80, (now $100) per year, and enjoy free shipping.

This was reported on my news too. I don't have Prime, as I don't watch movies much and rarely order. When I do it's always from a third party so prime doesn't cover that. We have a huge Amazon center here so it's often on the news.
