See no need for Prime, regular delivery when spending over $35.00 works great for me.

@Seannie   sometimes it comes from a private seller and not stocked by Amazon.

We have Prime and sometimes the post office delivers but thankfully it's here in a couple of days.  I use Amazon a lot and having Prime has paid for itself.

I love Amazon and Prime. They now offer delayed shipping on many items and will pay you to delay the shipping a few days. I typically get $1.50-$3 in digital cash to use on Kindle books by waiting a day or more for delivery. I just look ahead and order stuff before I need it and use the money they pay me for delaying the shipment on Kindle books.

@gardenman

I do this too and love getting that extra credit!

That's true! I've only had the Prime trucks (they're so cute) deliver mine. And I buy supplements all the time. But you can't return supplements. Actually, I think that's a good idea.

I always get my orders in 2-3 days from Amazon.  They even deliver on Sunday using U.S. mail trucks. I just ened my prime because I don't order that much & their rates keep going up.  Same with their music.

we have prime. for a number of years we had the "student pricing" which was half off. now we pay full price. i think the yearly pricing is getting a bit out of hand, but we do split the cost among family members.

yes, we have gotten a few amazon deliveries that come via USPS, but the vast majority of our items come via amazon delivery. some come in a day, other items in a few days, some may even come a couple of weeks after ordering.

I have Prime and group my orders together and receive digital credits to buy movies or books.
