Hello!

Long time Prime member here.

It's really worth it to go to your Amazon Account and look at PRIME MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS.

There's Prime lending Library, which allows you to borrow 10-periodicals/books at a time....when you finish 1, you return it for another. No time limits.

There's Prime Music, which I listen to on my smartphone while out jogging. I also Download Prime music to my phone and don't use Data that way! Thousands of artists/songs and Playlists.

And First Reads..which entitles you to 1 free ebook a month, from a choice of 4 or 6

(pre-relases!)

There's TWITCH, which is for Gamers.

There's Prime video, which has a ton of Movies/Seties, etc., some which can be Downloaded for later viewing without wifi!

There's more that I'm forgetting...I take so much for granted!

It's totally worth the monthly or yearly price.

BTW, the 2-day SHIPPING, means that the Order will be shipped OUT

in 2-Business Days....NOT THAT IT WILL BE DELIVERED IN 2-DAYS!

Although I always get my stuff ::::::fast.

The actual Delivery day can vary, as at times it depends on the local Post  Office.

good luck!

also, amazonforum . (dotcom) is a helpful resource.

@MKR14

I love Prime & have had it for years...not sure how many. First, I can’t imagine anyone ever getting Prime for the free 2 day shipping. That is just an added perk. Prime is about so much more & it is definitely worth it if you use the other benefits.

I don’t have cable and got Prime for TV shows and movies. The cost of a year of Prime is about what it was costing me per month for cable and I definitely did not get as much. It was an adjustment not having to watch TV on a schedule but I love it and could never go back to cable.

The Prime Video is more than worth the cost for me but I do use the Music and other benefits, too.

We love Prime . To us it is well worth $119.00 yearly. When divided by 12 = less than $10. per month . The Prime videos offered are worth that. Netflix keeps going up. I do not believe anyone has mentioned the streaming exercise videos that are Prime. Do a search. I especially like the 'Lumowell' choices -- just about any type one would need. The Lumowell have an avatar which is preferable to me over someone saying "come on you can do it." We just got Alexa this year and I love the music. I like to listen to what I wish to .

I have never had a problem with receiving items purchased. In fact one item purchased that was delivered from Amazon had a tracking that showed block by block where it was and when it was in front of my house. Also you can ask Alexa "where is my stuff ?" and she will say or set up notification. Smiley Happy I think we have only returned one item in the many years we have had it and that was 'easy peasy'. I have always found thier cs to be great.

I rarely use the free books offered . Not too many that interest me. I do like how you can coordinate all of your devices and the library books. I don't know maybe you can do that without Prime ?

Re: Amazon Prime question

I have had prime for a few years, and Amazon for. 20.years. Prime customers can get some good deals on fire products. There are also sales during holidays., Amazon. may have a sale for Valentines Day. The sales can extend to any product. They may offer a payment plan on large ticket items. You may need to have prime to receive an email.

Prime Music has great  radio stations. Music unlimited gives customers

millions of songs. There is not a need  to buy digital music. I pay by the year.

I buy most things form Amazon. I brought a pressure cooker on Thursday and it came Friday. I was not able to find a lower price.

I just ordered Prime for the $119.00 as I got the email stating it just ran out today. I didn’t want the $12.99 a month so I finally found the way to order the year. I have it set up to email me 3 days before it runs out next year so I can renew it.

Thank you for the input from all. I enjoy the music already as you just ask Alexa to play a favorite song and she does. She even played Baby I’m Yours that has been our song since when we dated 53 years ago.

It is sung by Barbara Lewis.

I don't have Prime and I have never paid any shipping to Amazon no matter how heavy the item and I usually get the item within a couple of days.  I do have the Chase Amazon card attached to my account so I get the benefits from that.

I can’t remember off hand everything that comes with the PRIME membership, but once you are a member, periodically, they message you and let you know all the things they offer that you haven’t tried yet. And there’s a lot. And our first purchase was a huge, heavy duty, covered dog gazebo for our backyard. Shipping was VERY expensive, but since we had PRIME it was free.

I love prime membership. Don't forget you also get savings at Whole Foods if you have one near you.

For the most part the music is great. On some songs you may get the "live" version or a cover version. Then sometimes certain songs get greyed out and I can't play them anymore. I haven't search on the titles, maybe another version of the song is available.

@EllieMuncaster  Didn’t know about the savings at Whole Foods. Could you tell me a little about it?
