There is a scam e-mail going around. The e-mail says that you need to update your payment method for Amazon Prime. The sender is not from Amazon, but from another business (i.e., mycandyshop). These scammers deserve no mercy. I did report this scam to Amazon. Hope all of you had an enjoyable holiday and the very best for the New Year. LadyAlice

Never click on any links in any email. Go directly to their website and see if there are any alerts there. There are scams going in so many ways out there so it's important to learn to not click those links! That includes texts too.

AND remember NOT to answer incoming phone numbers that are not one of your contacts. Let the call go to voice mail instead.

It was on the news again that the criminals are recording your voice, especially when you answer their questions with YES or NO !!

@RescueLover, so true! All they want is to record you saying YES especially. We all have to be on our toes these days with these scammers.

It's so bad I think the scammers are getting confused themselves! Woman Wink

I had another Apple scam email the other day and the bottom part of the email was a scam about a whole different company - it was like they cut and pasted from 2 scam letters and they didn't pay attention to what it actually said before sending it out. Sigh.

Sure wish they'd just give up, but they must be still be seeing $$$ results, just like the romance scammers apparently still do.

I got this e-mail last week.  I knew immediately is wasn't from Amazon.

My CC on file is active and gets quite a workout.  Trust me, It's active.

Another give away was the e-mail said Dear....my e-mail address.  All real correspondence from Amazon is addressed to my real name.

It was pretty real looking.  Someone went through quite a bit of trouble.

Here it is
