Re: Amazon Prime Deliveries...

I don't have Prime but have noticed when placing orders, my shipping options are generally longer than they used to be.  I used to get offered free shipping for a 4 or 5 delivery time after my order (sometimes sooner)  but I have not been seeing the free shipping option much lately and a lot of times the estimated delivery is 6 or 7 days after the order is placed and that's with being charged for S/H.

However, if they say it will arrive on a certain day, it is always delivered on that day and occasionally the day before.

It's not that big of a deal though as I don't really care when it arrives.

Re: Amazon Prime Deliveries...

Living in a small town I order alot. Saves traveling 50 to  70 miles. I have a Chase credit card with them and get 6% credit back.

I have a preferred delivery day so they ship everything together usually. It is rare that I can't wait. Most is delivered by USPS except Sunday. I have noticed two to three days shipping and no more overnight offered here? Depends on the item.

[ Edited ]

I just received another delayed delivery notice.  One more time and I will cancel Prime.  It is not raining or anything like that in my area. The item is coming from 50 miles away.  So, I contacted CS, politely but firmly explained my feelings, and asked for them to cancel the order.  I am tired of the nonsense.

Re: Amazon Prime Deliveries...

Every once in a while, but nothing that matters. Maybe one day later.  We have a couple warehouse near us (and another one trying to get in a town north of us) so we get our deliveries one or two days.

Trust me, they will charge you.  You may want to read their policy on litigation.

i would dispute the original charge since they said you returned it " the advanced refund. "  ( If it was with their card handled by Synchrony bank. I don't have much trust. )

If it were with a card from any other bank you may be in luck.  I still would report the issue to the Federal Trade Commission dot com.

@jlkz Amazon doesn't use Synchrony for their cards.  They use Chase.  At least that is who handles my Amazon card.

@Icegoddess  My Amazon card is handled by Synchrony. I am not aware of another bank.

@Icegoddess  It states right on the website Amazon Store Card managed by Synchrony. You can use other credit cards on Amazon that you add to their payment method.

Re: Amazon Prime Deliveries...

@elated No idea where you're seeing that, but that's going to be for YOUR account.  My card is with Chase.  I log into Chase to pay my bills.  My CC says PRIME on the front and Chase Amazon on the back. And if I go into my account under Credit Cards under Make a Payment there's a button that says Make a payment at Chase.

@Icegoddess  You are a Prime member and I am not. You have a Prime Visa issued by Chase. I have an Amazon Store Card issued by Synchrony. That is the difference.
