I always give one replacement on my shopping list, but if my first and 2nd choices arent available theyll take a photo to show whats available on the shelf....great communication and smooth deliveries. And your right Wow the store options, most have no price markups and charge regular in store prices, at least in my area....And no delivery fee if your a member $99 yr which works out to $8.25 a month plus small service fee-- its worth it--- for me anyway....

Trust me, they will charge you. You may want to read their policy on litigation.
i would dispute the original charge since they said you returned it " the advanced refund. " ( If it was with their card handled by Synchrony bank. I don't have much trust. )
If it were with a card from any other bank you may be in luck. I still would report the issue to the Federal Trade Commission dot com.
@jlkz Amazon doesn't use Synchrony for their cards. They use Chase. At least that is who handles my Amazon card.

@SEGardener wrote:Prime 2 day delivery to other than urban areas close to whse is no longer the case. Amazon draws items from whses that have availablity and transfer to "your" assigned whse. From there it's two day delivery. If you live rural, Prime 2day delivery never existed.
@SEGardener But the OP stated that she lives in a large city.

It's wonderful for those who don't drive, are elderly, disabled, or have small children.
I have never requested overnight or two day delivery, instead choose the delayed delivery to benefit the environment.
You may want to multiply the number of Amazon deliveries you've had in just a month by $3.50 and compare it to the cost of a Prime membership.
@occasionalrain The OP said that she has Prime in her first sentence.

I don't live in rural area. In fact, the next town that almost surrounds mine is now the largest in the state population-wise (although not infrastructure-wise regrettably). We also now have I think 2 Amazon warehouses in the area. I know there's 1, but I thought they built another one. That being said, I've never recieved anything from amazon in 2 days.
Remember when we had to wait 6 to 8 weeks for mail order items?

@Pink123 wrote:@Sunshine Kate is there anyway you can use instacart in your area? I find them the best as they have grown over the years. Yes they started rather clunky like an old rusty car like most start ups, uber, etcetera. But now they are on it top speed IMO. Very happy.
I don't buy my groceries from Amazon. I go to the store. If I know an item is available locally, I'll usually go and buy it locally. However, I'm not going to drive around looking for said items. That's what I use Amazon for.
