We have a lot of things in our wish list that we are waiting to see if the prices go down on prime day. Any suggestions on how to navigate the day. Thanks all

I've never really had any luck with Amazon Prime Day, but I can tell you my wish list is a mile long!  Hopefully some of those items will be on sale, but we'll see.

Sometimes I can get toys for Christmas for some of the younger ones I shop for.  Rarely do they have things I want or need.

I haven’t done much on Prime Day but I do recall getting both Alexas during the sale.

It's been my experience that the prices go up and then they will lower them on Prime Day but not to what I paid last time.

Since Nordstrom was sold out of the items I really wanted, I will be shopping the Amazon Prime Day sale. I have a $100 gift card, I'm looking to do some damage! The only thing I'll say is that not everything is reduced for the sale, usually the items I want aren't on sale.

I haen't had much luck on Prime Dy in the past.  Things I want/need don't seem to be on sale.  I've been shopping for my daughter's dorm room and other college items for well over a year.  Now, it's down to a few things and shopping /price comparison, etc.  and prices for those, so far, are best on Amazon.  So, I've written down my items along with prices and I will see if there is a "Sale" on Prime Day.  Many times I've found that the price is jacked up and then just lowered to it's original price.

I'd probably put everything I wanted in my cart and then take pics.  That way I can see if they upped the prices, and even the delivery date(s).

I'm a Prime Member and have their VISA, so technically I get an additional 5% off Amazon (and Whole Foods) purchases.  Unfortunately, I've never really found anything I wanted on Prime Day.

Some of the major publications do a "how to shop Prime Day" feature. I read one yesterday that if I paraphrased it would read Prime Day stinks. If you are in the market for Amazon devices I think those might be attractively priced. Other than that, I don't think it's ever a great sale.

I have placed things in my cart that I would have purchased anyway. Instead of pushing the submit button now. I will purchase on Prime day and hopefully save a few bucks.

I do not expect to have any great savings.
