Kim Gravel has been talking (and Amy and hosts)
have been referring to getting food (hot dogs) from Wawa's.
Does anyone know what this refers to?

Wawa, Inc. is an American chain of convenience stores and gas stations originating in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and now located along the East Coast of the United States.
It's one of those mega gas stations that sell stuff like sandwiches, soft service ice cream, beer & wine, limited groceries, etc. It's similiar to Buckee's or Sheetz if you're familiar with those two.

Wawa is a convenience store and gas station located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Florida, Alabama, and North Carolina.
They sell a wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold foods and beverages.

I love Wawa. The stores have evolved from gas stations and selling convenience items to be mostly about the delicious individually made hot and cold sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. Some Wawas are very large and have a few tables and chairs to eat in. In my area we have multiple 7/11's and Wawas, and Wawa is a thousand times better.

I don't have a Wawa but I have heard of them. However, I do have 7-11 and Circle K, but I wouldn't consider Tractor Supply to be in the same category. They sell farm stuff, not food, at least not people food.

We love it in NJ!😅
As of May, 2024, there are 1058 Wawa stores in the United States. These stores are located in 7 states and territories and 464 cities. The state with the most Wawa locations is New Jersey, with 257 stores. This is about 24% of all Wawa locations in the United States.
“Wawa” is an Ojibwe Native American word that translates, more or less, to “wild goose.” Hence, the Canadian goose you can see on the logo of the Wawa store chain.
It's my favorite convience store!

I first heard of WaWa when it was mentioned on a show years ago. Indiana is getting a WaWa in the Northern part of Indianapolis.
The place I'm wanting to try is Buc-ees. I've heard nothing but great things about them. There's one in KY and one being built in Ohio that would be a little closer. I've been tempted to just make a road trip to check it out.

We do not have this place (yet) in my area (Pittsburgh) but hopefully we will soon.
Wonderful to know about the Canadian Geese, which we DO have here!
