Was your package delivered by Amazon or UPS or USPS? That is who you need to contact.

There is a house 1 street over with the same house number as mine. Occasionally, UPS delivered packages to them. I talked to UPS and to my regular driver who put special notes in their records. I haven't had a problem since.

@CalminHeart - why would that matter?  Regardless of who actually had custody of the package, Amazon was who handled the money end of things.

I will be working on this in a few minutes and hopefully get the matter settled.

Update - it's all good.  Amazon wasn't interested in reprocessing the charge so I've more or less received the ribbon as a gift.  😊

I once had a FedEx guy deliver my pkg. with my correct address but it had been delivered to another state before I finally received it.

Unless Amazon delivered it, it wasn't their fault. If you want the package, call the carrier. If you want a refund or replacement, call Amazon.

Not with Amazon, but I had the same problem with a FedEx Delivery.   I had ordered a  a Christmas Gift Basket I had ordered for my tenants.  I was notified that it was delivered but the photo was of an unknown house.   I contacted the seller and they re-shipped another one.

A few years ago (also with FedEx and the same tenants for Christmas)  I was notified that the package had been delivered.  There was no photo at the time.   I had no idea my tenants had not received it until the following March!!!!   Whoever received the package finally  brought it to my tenants.
