What is Amazon Logistics?  I have a package that was supposed to be delivered today.  Just checked on the delivery and this was the message:  "Unfortunately we have no tracking information for this delivery.  If you need information about delivery contact Amazon Logistics."

Though I rarely order from Amazon, I never saw this type of message and always received my package when it says it would be delivered.

Amazon has their own trucking operation - cargo airline, long haul semi truck/trailer, box trucks.  These are the guys that deliver large items (freight like sheds or equipment) and also pallets of pkgs delivered last mile by the USPS.  For some reason my experience with Amazon logistics rarely has a track number like UPS or FedEx.  I usually just call the number - look on your items tracking and make note of any reference number for the pkg and also sometimes the logistics team.  The delay may have been an Amazon airplane from one of their major distribution centers to a local drop off point either mechanical or they didn't have a full load and waited for more product to load.  I've found them to be on time, no damage to pkg and easy to work with.

Amazon Logistics isn't like UPS or FedEx.  While they have reference numbers I've never received a track number.

@Biftu  I would call Amazon and report it. #888-280-4331. If you call, just keep saying Agent and it should put you through.

I sometimes use Chat which is located at the bottom of the page. Sometimes they will send you a new delivery.

Where I live in Georgia we have so many warehouses around. Most tracking would say Atlanta to Doraville which is about 30 minutes away, and then out for delivery. I like that.

I don't remember ever seeing anything from out of State with the tracking.

I thought Amazon Logistics is where they've passed the delivery to another service like UPS or the post office.

Just checked my order and now it says it will be delivered on August 22.  I placed my order on August 9th.  This is ridiculous.  My order was just for batteries (Amazon basic batteries) which I am not in any rush to get, but the other item was a toy for a neighbor's daughter which I need for this weekend.  Now I will need to go out and find another gift and return the item I ordered if I even receive it.  What a pain.  Now I know why I don't order from Amazon much.  Thought they were known for their fast delivery -- guess I was wrong.

If you don't have Prime and you are paying for this, they will refund shipping. I still would have called then and explain to them about the gift. Maybe they would send it out sooner as a curtesy.
