Re: Amazon Logistics Deliveries

First, to those surprised to have a package show up on a Sunday, Amazon Prime has had an arrangement with USPS to deliver on Sundays for almost a year. Your estimated/guaranteed deliver date shows when you place the order.

Most of my Amazon packages are now being delivered by USPS, even the bigger ones. Near as I can tell from the tracking, Amazon uses their own delivery system through dropping the package off at my local post office. But I do still receive some packages via UPS, OnTrac or FedEx.

As far as knocking on my door....just NO! I worked 8-5 my entire working years. I'm a night owl and retired. I seldom go to sleep before 4-5am. I really don't want to be woken up for some rountine package. I know it's being delivered. If it's valuable or something I'm anxious to receive I'll make sure I'm awake and waiting for it. Otherwise, just leave it (preferably as out of view as possible) and let me sleep. I'll take my chances.
