Yes but with limitations. People in other countries can't purchase everything Amazon sells, mostly because of laws in whatever country or import rules and taxes.

I only do Prime, never have to worry about limitations in price to receive free shipping.

But you do understand it isn't necessarily free? You're paying $99/yr *in advance*, credited to your shipping fees as they occur. People who order bi-weekly or monthly come out ahead but that doesn't mean everyone with Prime will, or that all or even most of Amazon's customers will order enough times and enough mdse to come out ahead. And I have ordered items that are not Prime-eligible and there are no Prime-eligible similar products, so I have had to pay for shipping anyway.

I have Prime and don't know what my "tipping point" would be. Not only does it save me money it also saves me pain from having to lug heavy items.
Both the cat food and cat litter I buy on Amazon monthly are less expensive than I can get it locally. Both are heavy items and having it delivered to my door, or in the case of the cat litter inside the door (thank you L.) in two days is worth the price of prime.

Most of my Amazon orders are over $50, so it won't have much effect on me. I canceled my trial Prime membership because most of the things I wanted to purchase didn't qualify for free Prime shipping anyway.

I don't think this is as much a personal assault as some would have it be. Companies probably have to do periodic assessments to determine at what level they still do business profitably in regard to the free shipping.
Moonchilde - I bet you might be surprised at how many of us order enough from Amazon to way more than pay for the Prime fee! I was on my account a little earlier and noticed that it said I have had 60 orders in the last 6 months. That's ten orders a month and sometimes it's more, as I have a number of auto-deliveries. My monthly auto-deliveries alone are always between 5 and 8 or 9 orders.
I honestly don't think that is an inordinate number of orders for a LOT of people. I get a ton of household necessity items from Amazon, including pet stuff, soap and paper, just a wide variety of categories. ![]()
Also, I enjoy using the Prime Video. I don't really use the music freebies too much at all and can't even remember the last time I did. But there's a lot of stuff on Prime Video that isn't on Netflix or tv, so I've enjoyed that as well as the free shipping.
ETA - I made a mistake. I've had 90 orders in the last 6 months. I thought that 60 sounded kind of low. D'oh!

I save OVER $20 a month on dog food alone! My 30# bag of Wellness was running $59.99 plus tax as PetSmart when I stopped buying it there (who knows how much it is now!) and I pay anywhere from $42 to $47 (tax included) for the exact same food at Amazon.

This just drives home the point that so many people on these board refuse to accept --- shipping costs money.
It costs money for someone to package an item. The packaging costs money. It costs money to send it to you. Things do not magiclly appear on your doorstep. Someone has to pay, and anyone who believes there is such as thing as "free" shipping is only deluding himself.

I quit Prime a few months ago. Would rather do subscribe and save. If I need kibble, sure I'll make the $49 minimum. Glad I placed an order yesterday before they went up!

With apologies to NickNack for this off topic I'd like to take this opportunity to remind Amazon shoppers, prime members or not, to use the Amazon Smile program to aid your favorite charity.
Not all items qualify for the Smile program but those that do, even if the donation amount is small (.5%), certainly adds up for the charity.
