So this guy was on his hang glider soaring through the sky when this  opportunist of a huge turkey vulture decided to mooch a ride.   The bird landed on the footrest of the glider and even allowed the man to stroke his feathers (2nd photo), all the while squawking up a storm.  We don't know how long the two flew together.  This was taken from a video.

@Kachina624   I saw the video.  Nature truly is amazing.  Wonder what the guy was thinking when the hitchhiker came along!  I would have been scared and thrilled at the same time.

That is amazing!

I watched the video (just put in turkey buzzard on hang glider).

It seems this bird really likes this guy and kind of followed him around even before the flight. He really likes himHeart
