So, I see here the Vitamix is on sale and (of course) it's waayy better than ever.... What the hay?
OK, so I almost bought it about 2 Vitamix TSV's back....but I didn't...now I'm glad I didn't...
I know it's the American way, and I love that about this Country (bigger and better...ya da...
However, had I bought the Vitamix way back and now this one is better, better (two betters) I'd be upset that I hadn't waited and gotten the upgrade.
So, I'm wondering if I'm the only person in this Country who (again, while I salute the American way of making things better), would be upset that I'd just bought one (of anything) and now there's an even better one?
I'm trying to decide if I should bite the bullet (so to speak) and purchase this one...
Just be aware that (with my luck) if I buy this one...very soon a NEW, BETTER Vitamix will be unveiled....just you wait!
What do ya think people? Should I buy this better one?
Oh! Here's a better question....Will I use the thing? Hummm....probably not.
Maybe I should wait until they design one which will buy the fruits and vegetables, put them into the jar, turn itself on, pour it and put it to my lips (the swallowing part....I MIGHT be able to pull off)......

The only twisty, whirly, blendy thing I own is my KA blender.
So, I don't get the fascination, either.

Just how much freaking cheese do people eat anyway?
It's just a theory of mine but I'm convinced that the reason everyone is so onery, confrontational, etc. these days is because everyone is so constipated from eating so much ....(insert your word) cheese.
Buy a hamburger....you get asked "You want cheese on that"? Buy anything....you get asked...."You want cheese on that?"
I've been watching Jan shred cheese since last night....Who eats that much cheese??

I don't think the newer one is better than my 5200. I don't regret buying my old one years ago. I haven't felt any loss for not having presets. Everything I do it in it is extremely fast with no need to walk away from the machine.

QVC just went off of my TV..... yepper....it looks like Jan maybe blew the Vitamix fuse because it says...."One moment please.....we'll be right back".
That's a sign from above....my late husband is telling me, "If you buy that freaking thing...I'm going to disturb your sleep for one week.....that's my money you're spending...you don't need another appliance (get the red)...you don't use the things you already own....remember you just shipped to the kid in Denver all of your other appliances...."
I hear him in my head...it's still off of the air! If Jan blew up my TV you'll read about an old grandma who went crazy...she was found by friends uttering...."No Jan...not my TV...I must have my TV... WAIT...she's saying something else....She's saying she doesn't want cheese with that"....
Sorry, this grandma has terrible taste...who doesn't love cheese in this country!"

@Annabellethecat66 I hate when they ask me if I want cheese on my hamburger when I tell them I want a small hamburger with mayo only. If I wanted cheese on it I would have ordered a cheeseburger with mayo only. They also don't know what mayo only means.

My Vitamix was my first QVC purchase many years ago and still going strong. I love making smoothies!
I think I am so used to new and improved models of anything I buy coming out a few months after I've bought something that it doesn't really bother me any more. I just expect it!
I'm actually okay with not having these new upgrades. My old Vitamix still does everything this new one does - it makes soups, smoothies, ice cream, etc. I just don't have a specific button for each of those things.

I eat cheese every day and I'm not constipated.
I have a $25 Oster blender that does everything I need.

I don't even own a blender....
