We own a Boston Terrier and a short haired cat. Adopted another dog last month a boxer- mix. Now when we are all in the same room together (well mostly just the dogs) I can barely breathe, my eyes swell, and I feel really tired. Didn't have this problem before, so don't know if it's just our new addition's coat or just because it's more animals. We owned a boxer in the past, prior to the boston and I didn't have this problem. She is a lab mix I wonder if that makes a difference? Different type of fur?
If I open the window while we're inside it helps but the only complete relief is if they go outside. I've vacuumed, bathed them, dusted etc, take allergy medicine to help but it really isn't.
Any suggestions as to what else to try, maybe a special shampoo for them, or a special vacuum? I'm desperate I want to rip my eyes out they hurt so bad. I also think it's worse because I'm on vacation so I'm not usually home all day which isn't helping the reactions.
