I just discovered this magazine a little over a year ago, and I really enjoy it. I found it at Walmart, then our local grocery store started carrying it. I wondered why I hadn't seen it since Christmas. I stopped at Walmart on my way home today, and there it was! I was in a hurry, so I grabbed it. I got a big surprise when I unloaded the groceries and found out I'd bought a December issue!
So I googled it. It appears Time, Inc. shut it down for a number of reasons. The most important one is people aren't buying print magazines the way they used to. I still do.
It was the first magazine to close under the tenure of the current CEO, who's been in charge 18 months. Instead, Time is buying "Hello Giggles," a social and media site aimed at millenial women. I should have known. They want to cater to the under 35 group. ![]()
Anyway, I really enjoyed this magazine. I can't believe it took me as long as it did to "discover" it! Did anyone else read it?

I did. It used to be exclusive to Wal-Mart only when it first started out. It had coupons in it that could be used at WM. I used to buy it, and then subscribed to it. I really liked it, but let my subscription run out and just didn't get around to renewing it. It's too bad that it's out of business now, though. ![]()

I liked ALL YOU when it first came out and then subscribed for a few years. Didn't even realize that the magazines had stopped. Sure liked it at first when there were so many coupons, but then the content changed and the coupons stopped so I guess that's why I didn't miss it.

I liked the magazine too and subscribed for a while. Someone here on the boards posted recently about them folding. Too bad.

I subscribe to that magazine. I know I received one in December but honestly I don't know if I rec'd one after that.
I didn't know they had folded. That's a shame.

It was popular when it had a lot of coupons. Then they cut back on the coupons, or eliminated them entirely, and their circulation plummeted.

When it first came out, it was exclusive to Walmart and I loved it..it had great coupons, articles etc..then I got away from reading magazines with so much going on..
I noticed it was in other stores this past fall. I didn't realize it disappeared. I thought I saw it at Walmart as I was checking out just the other day.

You piqued my curiosity lol and I googled it.
It came out in 2004 and was the 9th largest circulation magazine and was only available at Walmart.
In 2011 it suffered after the bankruptcy of a distributor and when it ended its exclusive arrangement with Walmart. Walmart then cut down on its promotion and prominent location in Walmart stores. It was reportedly losing 5 million a year. It said the quality of the magazine and lack of coupons were noticed.
It was owned by Time, Inc..the article was dated 10/15 in the New York Post. The final issue was December 2015.
30 people lost their jobs.
I liked the magazine and am sorry to hear it is no longer available..

And this is why I don't like to buy more than a 1 year subscription to magazines.

So sorry for you @beach-mom for losing your new favourite magazine. That happened to me with one I had read for years. My mum, who passed years ago, had some favuorites from the UK that my aunt would send her. I came to liking them as well, so after she was done, she gave them on to me. Now all these years later, I have a cousin who sends me the few she can still find at their news stands. It's not as bad over there as it is here. And, some publishing houses will still print once popular editions that are not in print now, but digital.
I say that because I'm wondering if you can find the puplisher, contact them and see if they are willing to send you a print edition. They often still run some copies for heir own archives and, if enough customers ask, they will do it. Worth a try?
good luck. ;-)
