All of the books and magazines I had on my nook account are missing from my nook. That is, the pictures of the books are there with the green "download" under them, but all the book and magazine content is gone.
I called the 800 number and talked to a CS person and then the supervisor. Both said that due to an update, I have to re-download all of my books! Well, 1. I have a dialup speed connection, often slower than dialup, actually. 2. Their reasoning was wrong, as my software was NOT updated.
Downloading a single magazine can take over 4 hours on my connection.
Not only that, they said I won't have to worry about it often because "It will only happen about every 6 months or so."
I have 2 devices registered under this account. It didn't happen on the PC application.
A bit ticked off here...I just spent almost an hour going 3 levels up the ranks over there and there is no resolution except to download everything again, on both devices, and they say it can happen again. - Bird
