My great-grandparents on my dad's side (both paternal and maternal) lived to be in their 90's. On moms side her great grandmother lived to be in her 90's. Her father was 84 when he passed and both my grandmothers were 78. My parents are 85 and 86. I have lived around elderly people all my life and I remember as a kid, I thought 60 was old. As an adult, and seeing so many people grow old, I now think of 75 is the number I equate with the word, "elderly".

My parents died as a result of a car accident when they were 67 and 72 - and they were much too young to die!! Heck, they were both still working part time.

I,m 78 and still color mine. No one believes my age when they hear it from someone. Not just because I haven,t gone white, but because of my speed and energy.sorry of like Joan Rivers. I think AM looks beautiful, better than with the long hair, but she doesn,t have the wrinkles she had in the picture with the long hair. My hair has been short since my 60,s. I see women with white short hair and they look great, but not me. Most have thick hair.

The only thing I see natural is the color of her hair. Looking at older pictures, she's definitely had work done.

I am sorry to hear that. I lost my mother in her 60s, also, and I always thought it was way too early

They were too young to die. How sad for you. I'm sorry you lost them so young. Whenever I hear a story like yours, I realize how fortunate I am to still have both my parents at my age. Hold tight to your memories, happy housewife.
