@RespectLife ,yes, it was in their ad in yesterday's paper. Prices valid Oct. 31-Nov. 6. I don't know if offers differ from store to store or not. I'm in PA.

Wow that is probably going to be one of the lowest prices you will find this year...but I only need a turkey breast. I will check the Aldi's near me...have only been inside once and was put off by how filthy it was, but am hoping since COVID they have had to clean up their act, so to speak.

Mine too.  I won't go in it.  Never been impressed.

Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere to store a huge turkey for a month. I'll have to buy one closer to Thanksgiving. That is a great deal though.

Thanks!

@catter70

I get the online ad on Weds for next week but it wasn't in there.

I get the paper one at home on Fridays....I'll have to look there.

They quite often differ!  I'm in Western NY.

Sometimes our meat specials don't even start til the Wednesday of the week.

I sure don't want to go if our store isn't having them, it is also those Advent Calendars starting Sunday, usually means a riot ensues...in fact, I'll send DH if they do....he can fight the lines!  Hee hee!

They have made such a big deal about turkey shortages and pumpkin shortage etc on the news, I'm afraid it will be a free-for all!

We have a turkey farm a mile down the road. We usually get a small fresh breast there annually. I stopped today. Price is $6.13 per pound and they are totally sold out.

I was surprised. They told me they are processing their normal supply, however people are in such a panic ordered early.

I've had 3 Butterball turkeys over the years and they were the worst turkey ever. Soggy, tasteless, mushy. Give me a Norbest any day.

interesting @Meowingkitty  because anytime we have strayed from a butterball everyone is always disappointed in the taste and texture in our home. we HAVE to have a butterball.

thanks for the heads up on the sale turkeys. i dont usually shop at ALDI, but i may have to go in to see if the have any 20+ pounders.

COSTCO has cases upon cases of Butterball boneless turkey breasts  approx 4-1/2#  something like $14  don't quote me on that, just glanced at them

Also, Juniors Cheesecake Devils' Food, if it didn't have that short of a date (due next week) I would of bought one.  This one was priced at amost $17.

@Mistreatedbycs   Went to Aldi's this morning in search of the cheesecake but there were none.  I'll have to try again.  🙁

I would give everything I own just to have you back again.......David Gates of Bread

I'm not a turkey fan at all so I don't care where they're from or what the brand is.  LOL

Hi! All

That was nice..to pass on the Aldi's info.

But don't need..

My daughter has taken over the holidays.

Miss the aroma of cooking Thanksgiving..

Get some of everything to take home...just not the same.

To be able to go into the 'fridge and "pick"

Oh! Well..time marches on

I hear ya!  My DD and GDD's also have taken over the cooking and clean up - But I'm fortunate because all the prep  the day before, the cooking, eating and clean up on Thanksgiving is all done at my house.  Everything stays in my fridge so they can all come back for leftovers on Friday.
