Alcohol and Sleeping aids

I just got a call about 15 minutes from a friend out of town and her son has been drinking and took three ambien 10 mg tabs and wanted to know what to do? I told her to rush him to the ER........he is in his early 30's.......and I told her to call the Poison Center on the way. I gave her that number. She does not know how she can get him in the car? Call an ambuliance. What would you have told her?
