Need some info...

I am thinking about taking an Alaska cruise this July. We cruise every year, but always do Carribbean.

How is the Alaska cruise different than carribbean? We are going on the Royal Carribean Rhaposody of the Seas. It's an older ship. We are used to the huge new ships.

Can you still swim in the pools on the ship? Not sure how warm it will be - in July, we are sailing out of Seattle.

Can someone shed some light on this if you took an Alaska cruise in July?

Dont want to make a mistake.

Thanks!
