I haven't used one for years...seems like I just wake up exactly when I need to.

Ours is set, but we turn it off before it has a chance to go off because we are already up. Between DH, me or the dog, nobody sleeps in.

Rarely. After years of getting up to get to either the office or airport very early, 7:00 AM is sleeping in for me. If I do need an alarm, I use the one on my cell phone.

I haven't needed one. Seems like I get up when I'm supposed to - LOL

I do set the alarm on my phone if we have to get to the airport or have to be up before 5, just as a precaution. That would be the one morning we'd all oversleep.

Day One of Retirement...and I threw that bad boy out the window!! Today, I just use my iPhone alarm if I need, but it's amazing how your body knows when to awake.

I set my alarm clock or phone as a precaution but I'm usually up way before.

My husband sets his but the only time it goes off is when he forgets to turn it off.

In my 30 year teaching career, I do not believe mine ever went off. Still, if I have an early appointment, I will still set the alarm.

Our dogs have us up at the crack of dawn too ..I wonder how they know it's time to get up when it's still dark outside .

Probably because we "taught" them. He starts in at 2:30 and by 3:00 or 3:30, we give up and get up. Even on weekends and off days. He knows what time to look for DH, too. He can be asleep on the couch, but will get up and go straight to the window to start his wait for daddy.

I use the alarm on my phone if I need to get up earlier than usual.

We use the alarm clock but the cats wake us just before it goes off. They want their daily routine to start. They are very good as alarm clocks.
