This answers some questions I had
“My son’s girlfriend heard her asking the child, ‘Are you OK? She never heard the child say anything but then she heard our daughter scream,’’ Talitha Russell said. “All you hear on her phone is background noise from the interstate.”
“Her car door was open,” Talitha said. “They found her phone on the ground, along with her wig and her hat...Her purse was still in the car. Her Apple watch was in her purse and her Air Pods as well.”
Talitha Russell said a tip was called in from a trucker.
“He saw a gray car with a tall brown skinned man with khaki shorts on leaning over in the car,’’ Talitha Russell said.

It is too bad the woman did not have a dashcam in her car.

So scary! When I read that they found her wig on the ground nearby (along with other articles including her phone) I immediately thought it probably was pulled from her head during some kind of attack. I just hope and pray they find her before something bad happens to her.

Police have gotten video from Traffic Cam Archive and are working to enhance the images. Hopefully this will help. What luck that this incident got recorded!

This is so scary and sad. I hope they find this girl soon, unharmed. Too much evil in this world. When I read something like this and listen to the local news I have no regrets about my decision not to bring children into this world.

I didn't realize it was dark. I wonder how she noticed the child. I can't make out anything.

What a heartbreaking story. I viewed the video from the highway camera and it was so dark that I couldn't make out anything.
My only thought was did she see a real child or something placed there to look like a child in order to lure someone into stopping. No one has reported a missing child and it seems unlikely that someone who was the parent would place their child on a highway in order to abduct a victim. The person she was speaking to on the phone heard her ask the child if they were okay but never heard a child's voice. That's what makes me wonder if it was a real child.
This young lady seemed like such a compassionate person and her concern for what she deemed a child in need was first and foremost in her mind at that moment. I fear this will not end up with her being found alive.

This criminal is very bold to attempt this crime with all the traffic going by. That's not a good sign. Very scary. Wonder if he or she had a gun.
How did this criminal even know it would be a young female that would pull over. It could have been some burly male off duty cop that stopped or a car full of people.
I watched the video on TMZ and some viewers pointed out a strange yellow light that might have been part of the crime. I did see the light.
Thank goodness there is a video. FBI is good at enhancing video that is taken in darker settings.
I would think that some other motorist might have pulled over to try to assist the car with its blinking lights, but no. People are too scared to help.
