Afraid and Nervous!

Hello ladies.

Two weeks ago I went in for my yearly mammo. The day before Thanksgiving I received a letter saying they 'saw' something on my left breast and needed to make an appointment ASAP! Well this had me at a nervous wreck stage!

My appointment is this afternoon, I was told I could spend at least an hour there and a Doctor will be along with the tech doing extra tests. My nurse practioner assured me it wasn't cancer but it could be fibroids or something. I dont feel anything on or in my breast but I am freaking out and afraid, Im only 46, I dont smoke and maintain a healthy lifestyle except for a sweet tooth!

My extra tests could include ultra sound and possible biopsy? Anyone have to go thru this? I am so scared. Its right before Christmas, I still have small kids. Im a wreck! Help......
