I have not seen adult coloring books.  I have purchased coloring books for kids and color once in a while -- it's not a passion.

Great tips on the coloring instruments!  I just bought some new pencils - nothing fancy but a nice color selection.  I know me - I'll get all obsessive over stuff like that which pretty much defeats the purpose of the activity.

Also some new flower books, spiral bound.  I love my garden and am really a perfectionist about the aesthetic, and what I love about coloring is that anything goes.  I can step down from making those "important" choices and let my imagination run loose.

Color on!

Wow!  I'm too busy but it sounds like fun!

From the first time I can remember, I always loved color.

Great idea!!!!

My eyes just aren't up to the task of coloring in those tiny lines. I try and do brain-stretching games like crosswords to try and keep my wits about me!

I totally understand. I have to wear my reading glasses and have good light for coloring. I also like crosswords and other word games. I need my reading glasses for those activities too.

I started coloring after first reading about it here. Smiley Very Happy

I picked up some books from all over the place--different craft stores, and different craft departments of other stores.

I also like to use colored pencils, gel pens, crayons, and markers when I color.

I'll color in both adult books and in the larger picture coloring books made for children.

I'm editing my post to add to keep your eyes open for books and coloring supplies wherever you shop.

I've picked up some really nice books and supplies in places that I didn't think of looking, or in places that I didn't think might have much of a selection, either.

I have gotten some really nice adult and children's coloring books at the Dollar Tree and at Walmart and at the Dollar General stores, too.

Walmart always seems to have a nice selection of various coloring supplies, too.

We just got a Five Below store in our area too, and they had some nice gel pens at some reasonable prices, too.

I like them but haven't colored in over a year. I only use colored pencils with a soft core (Prismacolor, AmazonBasics, ect.).
