Recently I inquired about Ad Blockers here and a very kind poster (can't remember who) suggested one that they were familiar with from work.

Microsoft did some updates and apparently removed it, now I'm inundated with ads everywhere!

I'm hoping they will see this post and remind me what the Ad Blocker was called.

I had NO ads after installing it! I already have ADBlock+ on my laptop, but it's not helping!

Please help!

I've used uBlock Origin for years on my laptop and no ads.  It actually keeps track of how many ads it prevents on every website you go to.

Re: Ad Blocker Help Please!

[ Edited ]

I won't give up my ad blocker.  A lot of newspaper reports I can't read is because of this.  Doesn't matter.  My block stays.  Bad enough the junk I get on my cell phone.  But my computer stays ad free.  I even stopped watching Youtube because now its no longer ad free. I tried to block ads on my cell, but it didn't work for some reason. You have pay monthly for almost anything ad free.

An advantage to keeping a computer!

I only have iPad and phone...do not think ad blockers work for these?

My computer and phone synchronize with each other.  Not just the email.....everything.  It works fine with the block on the computer.  When I tried it also with my phone,  it went crazy, words, paragraphs, etc. missing.  So now it's my computer ad free with normal on my phone.
