I've always gotten him mixed up in my mind with Tony Roberts who was some  Woody Allen films, including playing Woody's friend in Annie Hall.  They look similar to me.  I have seen Wayne on a lot of Murder She Wrote episodes.

I've also seen him quite a bit - and not too long ago - commenting about business on Foxnews.  He was in great shape, so I'm surprised at his passing.

There are just some people who have been in our lives for years who feel like family- watching them weekly on TV - he seemed like a great person - Very sad.

Sad start to the new year. Trapper John. Loved him. Also heard about Natalie Cole.   RIP

Was talking about him with my wife  the day before he died. I watch a show called Cashin In every Saturday morning. Wayne was pretty much a regular on the show.

I was telling my wife almost every time I saw him he looked thinner and did not look well. He also didn'talk near as much, and that was way out of character for him on that show. He had not been on for a few weeks and that is what I was telling my wife.

I read where he died of pneumonia, I however think he was very sick prior to succumbing from pneumonia. His death did not surprise me. He was a great actor and very good in the "business world. I will miss seeing him very much.

Condolences to all that loved this man.
