Think of all the people who took Tylenol and DIDN'T have an ADHD kid...
They don't know anymore now than they ever did...
It could be DDT or sulfites, or the ozone layer- please don't indict yourself over what "might" be...

I am beginning to wonder if anything is actually safe...

What if one day they told us drinking milk caused some "abnormality"...autism for example.. would we believe them? remember how many, many people drank milk while pregnant and did NOT have autistic kids..
I think they look for the slightest cause and effect- Geez, when my mom was pregnant with me, women of her generation smoked AND drank while regnant... and it doesn't seem there were more birth "defect" then than now...on the contrary....

Women often had their children when they were still too young to drink.
Maybe all these birth 'defects' are caused by old moms.

exactly! and I know very few moms who would willfully do something they knew would hurt their unborn child.. So no use in everyone beating themselves up over the "teratogen du jour"...

I heard half the women who participated in the study and had children diagnosed with ADHD, took acetaminophen while pregnant. This is not to be confused with half the women who took acetaminophen while pregnant had children diagnosed with ADHD.
I do not believe there is enough information to support the title of this thread,
