About online rebates rates differences??

For instance, QVC offers 1% through "Ebates and offers 3% through Mr.Rebates? Why does is differ? How do these places offerer us money ? I'm really interested to know . Can anyone help me? Thanks so much...

Why do two different stores vary in price for the same item? They just do.  One month Mr. REBATES will be higher, the next Ebates or one of the other companies.  They change the % offered; it's not always the same. 

 

What they get out of it is a mystery.  It's not advertising because there is none attached, I've never seen any evidence of them selling email addresses.  I've been with Mr. Rebates at least 10 years, have collected over $5,000. and have been happy as a clam with them.

I wonder also how they make money.I love mrrebates.I learned about it years ago here on the boards.
