@Mominohio
ITA... what better opportunity than to try and then return if it doesn't work out?

I apologize for thinking you would schedule My Pillow all day today. How stupid of me!

No, you were able to sneak in at least 2 more IT shows after they were on yesterday...was it once or twice? The presentations are always the same products and of course, we can't go a day without Susan Graver.

So happy it's supposed to be a gorgeous 80 degree day here in NC. The TV will be off, I'll be outside.

No worries, you just keep  programming the same as usual. Then we can make plans to be with friends, garden, read, take a walk........anything but watch QVC.

`Not meaning to be critical, but you must have forgotten to include LOGO NOGO and all those wonderful mattresses, computers and TempTations.  DH made the mistake some months ago of buying two king size My Pillows. He tried them, as I did, then we gave them to a daughter, who gave them to her daughter, who gave them to The Salvation Army.  Hopefully they gave them to someone who was desperate for a pillow of any kind. Sleeping on lumps of questionably soft foam wasn't for any of us.  'Nuff said.

I don't get why people don't return merchandise that is either defective or that they don't care for. Yes, you loose some shipping costs if you simply don't like the product (all shipping refunded if defective or damaged) but for products as expensive as My Pillow, that would have been at least some money back.

Q gives us 30 days (or several months if you buy after September 25th each year for their holiday return policy till Jan 31st), plenty of time to decide if you like a pillow or not and get some money back.

And for an opposing review, my husband and my mother love their My Pillows. Never slept better.

Maybe I can help a little.  I'm older and don't drive very often anymore. (A kindness to others who want to be on the road.)  I hate the time wasted in repacking something, getting to the Post Office, etc. And I hate asking our mailman, who comes here about 5:00 every afternoon, tired, and not needing to have to park and come to our door to pick something up.  Sometimes one of my children or grands wants to try something I don't want to keep, and I choose to just pass it on. Often saves them money and that's important to me.

I know how and why to return things - lately I do it quite a lot.  The quality (like the Old Gray Mare) just ain't what it used to be, and the emotional sizing makes it difficult to get your right size lately.  I just choose to do otherwise with something.  I can easily afford the return shipping charge. My money, my choice. Sorry I couldn't send mine to you.

Re: APOLOGIES TO PROGRAMMERS

OP:  You need to understand that these "vendors" actually pay the Q for the air time.   So it's not the Q who is actually giving them all the time, it's how much time versus how much money they want to spend.

Think of it this way, you must have local morning shows, you see a restaurant, grocery store or anyone local do a 2-5 minute demo during the broadcast, that costs that place money.   Only reason that I know this for a fact is that I own a store and thought, hey, if I can get on local tv and promote my store, that would be great for free advertising.  Wrong, it's not free and actually to me, it cost a lot of money for that little of air time.

Do those of you who say that some vendors pay for air time know this for a fact?  If so, how do you know?  I Googled it and couldn't find anything about that at all.  I find it doubtful.

Yet in spite of all the complaints Q sold another 40,000 sets in the first 12 hours today.

Precisely. QVC will sell anything, questionable business practices or not, to people who don't care that the guy rips people off and has issues not just with the BBB but has been sued by the attorneys general of multiple states for multiple reasons.  QVC, My Pillow Guy and the 40,000 deserve each other, lol. It IS all about the cold hard cash.

@deedledeedeedle. When I Googled "My Pillow" last night, the issue was his claiming to be a sleep expert & all the ailments his pillow could cure. Class Action suit settled in 2016.

Like department stores in recent news, QVC loads its schedule with products that sell well.

That's the assumption, but if it's accurate one wonders why their quarterly financial reports have been so marginal now for quite some time... One also then wonders why their publicist seems to be working overtime to try and create some positive spin... Not sure the business plan that has them consistently airing the same rather uninteresting items for hours at a time is necessarily working so well, afterall...

Re: APOLOGIES TO PROGRAMMERS

@Shanus .... why does it matter? ..... if the TSV is My Pillow, Wen, IT, LOGO etc., it is shown every other hour for a full hour & every hour for a few minutes .... they are all handled the same way for a long time now .... just don't watch.
