ANYONE HERE STILL WEARING LIPSTICK?

[ Edited ]

I got an email this morning from Ebay .... I have an active search going for a discontinued lipstick I'd like more of ....  and realized I haven't worn lipstick since I started wearing masks.   Just a little clear lip balm, but no colored gloss or lipstick.

Is anyone here wearing lipstick under their masks?  Doesn't it make the mask soiled ... or is there a good trick to removing it?

I tried some gloss under the mask, then thought, Why??  LOL

But out of the tube, I get coldsores.  My sister has the same problem, so it's not just me. She has to get intense medicine for it, I don't.  But, we just don't wear it anymore.

Is the one you're looking for rare/out of date, or just getting the color right?

Re: ANYONE HERE STILL WEARING LIPSTICK?

Lipstick was always my favorite thing.  I loved buying new ones.   However, not had any on since March 3.  I don't see the point when no one will see it and I will have to scrub it out of my mask.   Yesterday we went out so I decided to wear mascara.  I had not had any on since March and I thought that it must need replacing since it is 5 months old.  I guess when or if we ever get to stop wearing masks I will need all new stuff.

Re: ANYONE HERE STILL WEARING LIPSTICK?

The only time I wear lipstick is to a funeral. And even then, it's very light. I wear Clinique's Black Honey which is more like a gloss than a heavier lipstick.

I don't wear lipstick or lip gloss at any other time. I feel very self conscious in it.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I look like death warmed over without it. Yes it's under my mask...which comes off the minute I exit wherever I had it on. If Channing Tatum pulls up next to me at a red light and glances over I want to be looking good.

0 chance of that.

Prior to wearing masks, I only wore lipstick occasionally.  Since I’ve begun wearing masks everywhere, I no longer use lipstick or balm.  I’ve become so accustomed to it that I may not wear it any longer.  Things have changed so much.

Yes. I wear a lip stain with no issues.  Doesn't stain even a white mask

I use the IT lipstain and blot it before I put my mask on.  That way I still have the stain but no goop!  With that said, I don't go out very much so I don't have to wear them very often.

I stopped wearing lipsticks before wearing masks 😷. However I try to remember to use gloss or chapstick w/wo mask. Helps keep lips moisturized.

@Tinkrbl44

I recently gave up my years-long search for the best lipstick shade for me.  My stash was getting low so I tried a custom color company mentioned on these posts.

I received my 2 tubes a few weeks ago:  the color match was perfect.  Since they hadn't had a request for this color before, it was a little more money for the first order.  Now it is considered in " inventory. "

Go to their website:  Three Custom Color Specialists.com  ( No spaces, no capitals ).  They are in Rhode Island so shipping lipstick to states with e tremendous heat may be an issue right now.  It took a couple weeks rather than the months noted on their site.
