@ San Antonio Gal- apparently Antonella isn’t able to work either!! I’d be ashamed to be a grown woman and mooching off of people.

in my opinion there are people who are addicted to limelight   Whether it be acting, performing, tv work, or even back scene work, gofers for celebs, etc .  Sometimes it isn't as much about the money as it is about hte limelight.  That's  why so many actors, musicians etc work as servers, and in temp jobs to pay bills.  They struggle by in hopes the perfect job, role, film, project, gig etc, is around the corner.    Some people  get addicted to the energy, the erratic schedules, meeting note worthy people, and the creative work. High profile connections.   Going back to a lab job, office work might be a drudge to them. I know being a TV Host on a shopping channel isn't like being a host on GMA, or working in films.  But it is a job in front of cameras , with an audience. Sales can be addictive and competitive , and thus perfect for many lifestyles. It isn't a job anyone cn do either.  It is difficult, but can be rewarding.  It also offers steady pay, benefits and a chance to travel, meet people. Antonella seems to me someone who lost her identity when she lost her job. Of course , she had hurdles, health and money issues. BUT.. I think she has struggled with loss of lifestyle her Hosting job brought her. It is my opinion, and opinion only ..that had she not been supported financially by friends and caring fans, she would have been forced into another way of life to survive.  Who knows. But she can't continually depend on others for support.  She also might overly depend on the sympathy of of her followers. That in itself can be addictive.

Yes she can.  And does so quite well!

@shoekitty   As well as rewarding.  As of 4 months ago, her **OPEN** GF account:  Screenshot 2026-08-01 at 4.56.48 PM.png

The title is not one that would make me pick up the book to read what it was about.  Sorry Antoneela is still going through tough times.  Maybe check with vendors that might hire her as a rep.  I just saw MaryBeth come back as one.  I'm sure Rick will do the same once he retires at the end of this year.

@Mz iMac   I can't believe she is still raising that kind of money.  I don't understand. Is this GF money for support, or are they buying something from her?  That kind of GF money almost reeks of a loss of pride, IMO.  If it is for money for her support and to live on.  Geez, I remember in the "olden days" when I was so broke, I had to get extra work, deal with creditors, ...all worked out, and my life is blessed.    But it ain't easy.

I guess I am in the dark about the Antonella story--knew she had cancer and was living on a boat but nothing more than that. And can I also say--what is up with that one poster who always post about LR and her adventures??? I've never read any of those--just not interested-- but man alive, THAT person needs to get a life--outside of LR World!!!

After all the years of his posts, I call it stalking and creepy.

After years of grifting, I can't imagine hiring her. It makes me think she wouldn't be a solid employee.
