ANDREW LESSMAN TODAY'S SPECIAL LESS WRINKLES

ok ladies-I just finished watching the almost one hour presentation and Andrew explained how topically putting anything on your skin that claims it helps the collagen or elasticity improvement-just is not so-you must injest it.....the reviews he read were nothing short of amazing-also checked for myself online and WOW!

Also good for your joints, arteries, heart valves etc.......

I'm going to give it a whirl and see what happens!

Please report back if you see results. I heard the testimonials Andrew read, pretty amazing.

Is this the Marine Collagen product?    It's scoops of powder,  not capsules, if that matters to anyone.

Re: ANDREW LESSMAN TODAY'S SPECIAL LESS WRINKLES

There are a number of liquid, powder, and capsule collagen supplements on the market.  I have been researching them lately.   I decided not to go with Lessman's because I know I would soon stop using a powder.  I know me and that I'd stop mixing.   I chose a less expensive capsule version to try since it's a new supplement for me.

Did OP watch the presentation?  Does this include collagen types 1, 2 and 3?  If not, which ones does it include?

Type 2 is often used to help with arthritis.  Type 1 is the most common.  Type 3 also helps skin, joints, etc.

I couldn't drink it when seeing it was a powder and did not open it until 30 days after purchasing it in a TSV bundle.

Called ProCaps asked what the powder was and if I remember correctly they said  Talapia scales.  One of the things that make you gag.  Talapia is a bottom feeder.  I am wondering if I can feed the plants outside with it.

Re: ANDREW LESSMAN TODAY'S SPECIAL LESS WRINKLES

I heard him going on and on about it during the presale when he called in.  I googled the MSM name and an option for side effects popped up.  I didn't read in depth, but it said taking it with calcium supplements can result in abnormally high levels of calcium in the blood.  If you get it, check on side effects so that you're using it right.  I have his coQ10 and fish oil capsules, which I like.  The fish oil is the huge bottle that I've had for a while.  It doesn't get rancid like others.  I had another fish-oil supplement that went bad within weeks of opening it.

One thing I don't like about Lessman is that he puts huge doses of other vitamins/supplements his products.  The coQ10 has a huge dose of vitamin B, for example.  It's a problem when you want to take more than one such product because you can get way too much.  I showed his multivitamins (or one of his vitamins) to a nutritionist years ago and she said not to take it.  It had huge doses of things.  She told me to just take mainstream multivitamins.  I still like the two supplements of his that I have, though.  I'll ask my doctor about this MSM when I see her or maybe my sister, who's also in that practice.

@Ms X, that's my concern, too, is that I already take his multi vitamin.  Because of the ingredients, it concerns me to overload.  Last week, I almost purchased the HS&N, but read the ingredient percentages and compared them to my multi-vitamin. Might ask my dr. when I have my next appt.

Hmmmm, never thought about the affect of several items together.

Might be a question to ask customer service on his website.

I'm sure AL takes a ton of his own stuff, so....it makes me think that maybe he's figured this out.

Not saying it wouldn't be an issue, but it seems something they could easily address.

I may contact them later today.

Re: ANDREW LESSMAN TODAY'S SPECIAL LESS WRINKLES

From what I've read and understand, collagen supplements taken to improve skin only works to a certain degree...maybe 20% of the time and you have to ingest such large amounts of the stuff to get to that point. For me that doesn't warrant the cost or inconvenience of taking it for that matter.
