AMAZON QUESTION

[ Edited ]

Amazon has a great deal on the MacBook Air 13" M3 2024 8GB of ram and 256 of storage. It is available in the Starlight I want to get. It is $898.00. It is $1099.00 on Apple site. On special price for a few days.

The reviews are really good for it and Amazon service has always been excellent when I order from them. Just wondering if anyone ever bought a new Macbook from them. All the reviews are good and when person received the wrong color they made it right.

Thanks for any feedback.

I have ordered a MacBook from Amazon with no issues

I haven't, but who is the seller?  If it ships from and is sold by Amazon, and this is the model you want, then you have literally nothing to lose by ordering it.

It says visit the Apple Store and it opens up under Amazon. I guess this would be fine. I have never had any problems over the years but this is the highest item I would have bought. Thanks for the comments.

The listing shows it's sold by and shipped by Amazon. I would have confidence in ordering from them.

@MKR14  As someone else previously commented....it depends on who the seller is. I'd the seller is from the Apple Store (who is on Amazon), then I would. I have purchased other Apple items on Amazon from the Apple Store for less than going to an Apple Store, and everything was great. Third party sellers....I'm not so sure.

As other have said, I've become very careful about making sure Amazon is selling it.

I believer my BF had an issue with one new laptop computer that he purchased new from Amazon.  HP refused to honor the warranty on it. He returned it to Amazon.

I would check with Apple, after you receive it, that they will cover any warrant issues - if they refuse, return it.

That's a great price and it's the newest processor.

I bought an M2 Air 15" from Amazon about a year ago and I absolutely love it.  I got my grandson a Macbook Pro 13" M2 two Christmases ago.  Their warranty is the same as buying from Apple if not better.

Bought thrm both from the Apple Store on Ama;zon.

Just checked the one you're talking about - it is from the Apple Store on Amazon - go for it!

It's a $1 more there but just wanted to add that if you're a Costco member they have this same MacBook model on sale until 7/19 @ $899.99. Also shows available in Starlight.  Woman Wink

Not Amazon, but I bought my current MacBook Pro from Costco.  Costco's return policy is no questions asked, much like Amazon's, but for much longer.  But, I don't think I would have an issue with buying one from Amazon.  If I remember correctly, I bought our Samsung TV from Amazon.  I believe it's a 55" one.  It's one of the earlier Smart TV's.  It's smarter then me.
